| "I have had a great experience, not just the learning in the classroom, but playing lacrosse with the university team and meeting a whole lot of people I wouldn't otherwise have known. " |

SPORTS
Oxford offers a wide variety of sports to suit most interests and students are readily able to continue their chosen sports. The college organises soccer, basketball and squash and there is a weekly indoor gymnasium session for five-a-side soccer, volleyball or badminton. Those interested in other team sports, such as rugby, hockey, rowing or lacrosse, may join one of the local or university teams; our Sports Organiser will arrange this. Similarly tennis, golf, horse riding, ice-skating, athletics and other individual or team activities are organised according to individual requirements. Weights and aerobics training are popular and there are several local gymnasia which provide facilities for these activities. In the summer months the leisurely Oxbridge river pastime of punting is traditional and afternoons may be spent on the river perfecting this leisurely pursuit. Cricket, England's national summer sport, is also played during the summer. All sports are, of course, entirely optional.
