INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS MANAGEMENT
In this course, students examine the risks and rewards of an international approach to business, explore some of the cultural and ethical issues involved and research the experience of a range of firms who operate globally. Contemporary topics and issues are discussed, such as the growth of free trade areas, the development of international competitiveness and the causes and effects of 'trade wars'. The course aims to make students thoroughly familiar with the economic, cultural and ethical issues relating to international business and to give them the skills needed to critically appraise the success or failure of international firms.
