PSYCHOLOGY
The course introduces students to the history and development of the study of psychology, including philosophical issues such as dualism and free will versus determinism. It considers some of the major schools of psychology and their approaches to psychological problems. Theories regarding the nature and causes of prejudice, the long-term effect of early childhood relationships and Freud's Theory of Personality are covered.
